Saturday's host: Anne Harman
Anne is a cookery stage compere with over 20 years’ experience working in the food and media industry.
She is a member of the Guild of Food writers, a judge for the Great Taste Awards and member of the International Federation of Home Economics.
She has contributed to many cookbooks including ‘Eat Better, Live Longer’ with nutritionist Juliette Kellow and Dr Sarah Brewer and works with cookery book publishers to test many top chef’s recipes – such as the MasterChef series and for Mary Berry.
She has taught at Jean Christophe Novelli’s Cookery Academy and has fond memories of Keith Floyd who also visited there.
She trained at Birmingham College of Food and started work as a runner at BBC Pebble Mill, making food TV programmes with guests such as a young Gordon Ramsey, Gary Rhodes, Nick Nairn, Ken Hom and Sophie Grigson.
Anne works at many food festivals: as an ambassador for Love British Food, she promotes seasonal, local produce, and also likes to pass on tips for cooking from scratch, eating well, cooking with kids and mindful cooking: promoting good food for body and mind.
She enjoys presenting to audiences and has an upbeat, friendly style, with plenty of tales to tell from ‘behind the scenes. Her style is fun, accessible, and easy to follow.
Sunday's host: Chili Olly
Cheeky, hot headed and confident are just some of the words used to describe chef Olly but as an experienced chef these are the qualities that have put him on the map.
Olly has consulted with various food and drink operations across the Europe utilising his depth of know from creating dishes and cocktails to sourcing some of the finest ingredients.
Focusing on the almighty chilli, Olly regularly appears across the year at food festivals, sharing his wide knowledge of chillies. He is also involved in a number of chilli sauce developments and brands.
His passion for food in general partnered with his knowledge of chillies and sauces lead him
to become the co-founder and MD of Sauce Shed Ltd, where they produce thousands of litres of sauces a week, for hundreds of clients.
No matter where you meet Olly his knowledge, passion for flavour and cheeky character we leave you feeling excited, whether you are a chilli head or a foodie you will be hard pushed to find a more inspiring chef!
